Plates and Platters!

together to form one
piece and then glaze
them with clear.  I love
them!them!
This is another new
technique painting with
slip, or colored clay.  
For this piece I used
both the centripetal
force of the wheel and a
brush.  Also I used my
new white stoneware as
a base.

This bowl and plate
combination works great
with any meal.  The bowls
have large bottoms  and
high tops to keep your
salad in!  The plates are
made with  an angled rim to
keep your food from
spilling, especially those
saucier servings!
